Recently, many state-owned enterprises are subjected to one kind of reform or another . On the whole , it is a good thing . Only reform can bring vigor to these enterprises. However , every coin has two sides . There is no exception for the reforms. At first, they presented us a serious problem—unemployment . But few directors or managers were fired for their in competence as they should have.
Secondly, the social insurance system has not been perfected now, so the unemployed have to face the difficulty alone . Finally, we lack competent entrepreneurs to steer our enterprises to success.
In spite of all the troubles, reforms in the state-owned enterprises will benefit China’s market economy. Unemployment and other byproducts can be solved gradually, and the state-owned enterprise reforms will prove quite fruitful.
