大学英语B级语法结构精讲——比较级

(1)比较级+than

通常我们对两种事物的性质进行比较，往往用比较级+than的结构。如：

Youare taller than I.(你比我高。)

注意：比较对象必须是同类可比较的。如：

[误]Your computer is more expensive than Tom.

[正]Your computer is more expensive than Tom’s.(你的电脑比汤姆的贵。Tom’s指Tom’s computer)

(2)as + 形容词或副词原级 + as

当两种事物的性质比较结果相同，需要描述“和…一样”时，用as + 形容词或副词原级 + as结构。如：

He is as tall as you.(他和你一样高。)

(3)the +比较级，the +比较级

“the+ 比较级，the +比较级”是形容词副词比较级的特殊用法，注意定冠词the，意为“越…，越…”，表示一方的程度随着另一方的变化而变化。如：

The more I read the book，the more I liked it.(我越看这本书，我就越喜欢它。)
